Now, more than ever, it is SO important to support and patronize our local small businesses. What's great is that there are so many creative and fabulous businesses in the area that are geared toward kids. For the next few Wednesdays, I'm going to be featuring some of these businesses on my blog. So please, if you think these places are as cool as I do, drop in! And tell them Ashley sent you. :)

I stopped in yesterday for a little chat with Kate, owner of Tiny Tots Tea Room. Kate is such an awesome lady... down to earth, and she really knows her stuff! TTTR has been open for a year and a half, and is a unique and fun indoor play center for children under 5. When the kids work up an appetite in huge unstructured play area, there's a cafe on site to grab some grub. Kate is dedicated to provided healthy and interesting meals for both little ones and big ones alike... think paninis, soup, and a coffee bar for the adults.
My personal favorite part of TTTR is the princess room. Any little girly girl would LOVE it. They offer princess parties as well as princess camp during the summer... complete with tea parties and dress up.
To top it all off, right next door is the Tiny Tots Learning Center, run by Debbie. The Learning Center features all sorts of classes, such as mommy & me, tumbling, music and movement, and etiquette.
If you need a fun activity to do with the little ones, be sure to stop in to the tea room... or, if you need a spot for an upcoming birthday party! One of my little clients just had a princess party there, and from what I hear, it was amazing! They also offer playroom parties as well. Tiny Tots Tea Room is located off on Exit 8 in Clifton Park, behind CVS. Give them a call at (518) 348-1050.
